This is a project of mine I've probably been running for over 20 years now and just never got the time to putting all the data into one place! I am finally getting some spare time to get this enormous project off the ground!
I will start with the completely obvious list of castles in Scotland, like Edinburgh, Stirling, etc and then start building it up from that. And I want this project to be interactive - meaning I would like suggestions of castles to add, upload photos you may have taken, and also include some interaction with some discussion from users who have visited the castles and can offer some advice and tips on what to do or see at the individual sites (you will have to be a registered user to do that though).
There are some superb photos of castles on Instagram from some amazing photographers and I hope to include some of those if I can.
